Welcome to the Colorado Beagle Rescue, Inc.

Beagle in Need!

During the week of July 7, Colorado Beagle Rescue received a call from the Colorado Veterinary Specialists saying they have an adorable 5-6 month old male beagle puppy that was relinquished to their clinic with a broken femur. He was left on the steps of a church by his owner with a note saying he had jumped from a vehicle and hurt his leg. The owner did not think they could afford to take care of him and were hoping someone at the church would help this little fellow. After the police brought him to the vet clinic, a call was made to Beagle Rescue hoping that we would have an interest in helping this sweet little boy.

We have made a commitment to help this puppy and successful surgery has already been done on his leg. He will be confined to a kennel for a period of 6 weeks and a wonderful foster home has already stepped up to take care of him during his recovery. We wish to extend our thanks to Kimberly Craven and her daughter for taking “Earl” and giving him the care he will need. While Earl’s surgery was a success, it will cost Colorado Beagle Rescue right around $2,000. We need your help! Any contributions to Colorado Beagle Rescue will be so appreciated so we can get Earl healthy and ready to go to his forever home.

Please make checks payable to Colorado Beagle Rescue and send to 4755 West 102nd Place, Westminster, CO 80031.

We thank you so much for your generosity in helping this little guy!

Welcome to the Colorado Beagle Rescue

CBR is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax-exempt, tax-deductible organization operated by volunteers dedicated to the welfare of the Beagle breed.  relies completely on donations to support itself. When a beagle is placed in a new home a donation is requested in order to help with the expenses of running the rescue service - spaying, neutering, advertising, veterinary care, tags, books, administrative expenses, etc.

Please click here to donate to CBR.

To meet a CBR dog, you must come to the location where the dog is kept or arrange for transportation.  There is no facility available to house the dogs that are available for adoption.  Dogs are kept in their own home, foster home, kennel, or shelter until adopted.
